Manifesto
At F4, we believe that traditional R&D models no longer meet the speed and complexity of industrial transformations.

Why
F4 acts as a technological breakthrough accelerator, at the crossroads of the laboratory, the incubator, and the technology company.
We provide deployable solutions to problems that present both high technological complexity and a real industrial challenge.
Our ambition is simple: to transform scientific and technological advances into concrete industrial solutions, capable of scaling up and creating value.

How
Agile R&D to Accelerate Time to Market
We bring scientific research closer to engineering and the field to speed up the transition from idea to solution by reducing interfaces between disciplines and quickly testing hypotheses.
The goal is to rapidly demonstrate that the solution works in the real world in order to build systems designed from the start to scale.

Mastery of the Entire Technology Chain
F4 brings together complementary profiles: engineers, developers, data experts, hardware specialists, designers, product managers, and business experts.
This diversity allows for continuous confrontation of feasibility, performance, usage, industrial constraints, and market reality.

End-to-End Responsibility
Complex technological projects involve many risks: feasibility, integration, performance, security, scaling, industrialization, or adoption.
Our model allows anticipating them from the earliest development phases: mastering the entire technological chain reduces risks related to interfaces between teams, suppliers, and technologies.

Our ambition for the coming years
F4 aims to continue identifying and developing technologies capable of addressing major industrial and environmental challenges.
To support this ambition, F4 is part of an ecosystem supported by partners able to assist with scaling up, notably Reed.
Reed, a company of the Société Générale group, identifies technological companies and invests in them once they have already demonstrated their potential, in order to provide them with the means to structure their development and scale up.
Its ambition is to build a portfolio of technological companies capable of becoming European, or even global, champions in their markets.
